Conventional / Grade 2 - MCM

Washed coffee beans with fresh and homogeneous color.

Defects: < 23 defects in a sample of 300 g (no primary defects).

Screen: >= 14 (3% tolerance).

Cup: Clean, good acidity and medium body.

Conventional / Grade 2 – MC

Washed coffee beans with fresh scent and bold color.

Defects: < 28 defects in a sample of 300 grams (< 1 % primary defects)

Screen: >= 14 (5% tolerance)

Cup: clean, good acidity and moderate body.

Conventional / Grade 3 - MC Menos

Washed coffee beans with fresh scent and even color.

Defects: 40 – 60 defects in a sample of 300 g (< 2,5 % primary defects)

Screen: >= 14 (5% tolerance)

Cup: Clean, medium acidity & body.

Conventional / Grade 3 - MC Santa Clara

Washed coffee beans with fresh scent and even color.

Defects: 100 – 120 defects in a sample of 300 g (< 4% primary defects)

Screen: >= 14 (5% tolerance)

Cup: Clean, medium acidity.

Conventional / Mix Plus

Washed coffee beans.

Defects: < 10% primary defects

Screen: 90% with screen >= 14 and max. 1% <12.

Cup: Free of any serious defect cup such as ferment, dirty, rusty.

Conventional / Peruvian Mix

Washed coffee beans.

Defects: < 20% primary defects

Screen: 65% with screen >= 14 and max. 5% <12.

Cup: No specific requirement on acidity, flavor or body.

Any defect found should not exceed medium / strong intensity.
